Choosing interior parts - color, trim and condition

Color and material come first
Cabin trim is tied to the generation and trim level: seats for the same model may come in cloth, eco-leather or leather, and in several colors. Compare color and texture against daylight photos of your own cabin, and ask the seller for extra photos when in doubt - screens often shift the shade.
Electronics and mechanisms
Before buying a used cabin part, check:
- Electric adjustments and switches - ask the seller for a short video of them working
- Plastic tabs and clips - they often break during removal
- Wear on the driver's side - seat bolsters and touch points age fastest
- Generation and facelift - the interior usually changes along with them
Safety components
