Equipment and tools

Workshop equipment and tools - from lifts to battery chargers, new and used. Pick what fits and contact the seller directly.

Choosing equipment for a workshop or garage

This section is not about car parts but about the gear used to work on them: car lifts, diagnostic devices, tire vulcanization equipment, washing and polishing machines, power and hand tools.

Who buys here

Three typical buyers: a workshop that is opening or expanding, a tire shop or car wash that needs professional machines, and a driver who wants a battery charger, a tool kit or a pressure washer for the home garage. Listings include both new and used gear - workshops upgrading their equipment often sell well-kept machines.

Used equipment - what to verify

  • On a lift - cables, chains and hydraulics, plus the safety locks
  • Power requirements - some machines need a three-phase 380V supply that a home garage rarely has
  • On a diagnostic device - software version, update options and supported makes
  • Consumables and spare parts - make sure they are still obtainable

Transport and installation

Agree transport and installation with the seller in advance - a lift or a bench machine does not ship by regular courier. And if you need a one-off check rather than the device itself, diagnostic services are a separate section.

Frequently asked questions

A well-maintained lift works for years, but inspect the cables, hydraulics and safety locks before buying. Leave installation and the first run to a specialist.
