Used equipment - what to verify
- On a lift - cables, chains and hydraulics, plus the safety locks
- Power requirements - some machines need a three-phase 380V supply that a home garage rarely has
- On a diagnostic device - software version, update options and supported makes
- Consumables and spare parts - make sure they are still obtainable
Transport and installation
Agree transport and installation with the seller in advance - a lift or a bench machine does not ship by regular courier. And if you need a one-off check rather than the device itself, diagnostic services are a separate section.
